Nurit Zilberman was born and educated in Israel and has acquired:

MEd from The University of Liverpool U.K.

B.A in "Hebrew Literature" and "Comparative Literature- World Literature" from Bar Ilan University, Israel.

Teaching Diploma from Bar Ilan University, Israel.

Certificate of Teacher of the Hebrew Language and Culture for ULPAN, Ministry of Education, Department of Adult Education, Israel.

In-Service Training Courses developed to acquire skills and methods of teaching Hebrew, Department of Adult Education, Ministry of Education, Israel.

Nurit has worked as an Ulpan instructor of the Hebrew Language and Culture, employed by the Adult Education Department of the Ministry of Education in Israel in the Ulpans (special intensive Hebrew Language laboratories).

Nurit has experience in teaching Hebrew as a second language to learners from a broad array of cultural backgrounds. Currently in Toronto, she instructs small groups as well as one on one sessions for young and adult learners in different levels.
